The fee is however required because they need to pay a lot of initial processing fees and other miscellaneous charges before finally settling the claim with the client. Some companies allow the policyholders to pay a lump sum upfront to start the process of receiving the compensation. If the case is too complex and requires an in depth investigation, the public adjusters may assign their own lawyer to personally represent the policyholder.
